Japan Sake & Shochu Makers Association

I am very passionate about the history and culture of Sake – Japan’s national beverage. With the great help and support of Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association I have been able to visit several Sake breweries in northern Japan to explore the complicated and very detailed brewing process. In the same time it was a great opportunity to explore Japan’s incredible culture, history, hospitality and cuisine. After gathering knowledge and experience about Sake I did several masterclasses in Baltics to promote this authentic beverage and its capacity to match different styles of cuisine. Together with JSS we also did an insightful masterclass in Cyprus during the contest of ASI Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa 2021.
