For Raimonds Tomsons wine is the most exciting beverage ever made by man. Over the last 20 years, he had the great opportunity to visit numerous vineyards and wineries, learn from passionate winemakers and wine personalities, compete along with other great sommeliers of the world, and experience all the amazing and positive emotions wine delivers.

Even after 20 years of experience wine continues to fascinate him with its diversity, complexity, and element of pleasant surprise as well as with its rich cultural and historical aspects. It was a moment of enlightenment, and it became obvious to build his professional career around wine.

Today Raimonds continues his Sommelier path, maintaining a constant curiosity and willingness to learn every day and to develop and refine his sommelier qualities.For him, this is the foundation of becoming and being a great sommelier!

Sharing his passion and experience with wine enthusiasts and professionals is essential and brings him true joy and satisfaction.
